Seo In Guk talks about getting to play a new type of character in 'Shopping King Louie'

Seo In Guk discussed what he gained through working in 'Shopping King Louie' at a press conference held in Busan. 

At the press conference for MBC drama, 'Shopping King Louie,' Seo In Guk shared, "What I think was the best thing from selecting this romantic comedy-drama is that until this drama, I usually did manly or period dramas, and I wondered when I would get to do this type of acting." 

He explained, "I'm honored to play a character that is so pure, and I am happy to have picked this drama, knowing that many viewers are relating to the character. Thank you for trusting me and choosing me." 

'Shopping King Louie' recently broke its own record of highest TV rating and continues to gain popularity. 

Davichi reveal their secret to working together for almost a decade

Beautiful and talented duo, Davichi, graced the stage of 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook!'

Davichi made an appearance on the October 22 installment of 'Sketchbook' and performed their new songs as well as their old hits. 

When Yoo Hee Yeol asked what the two singers think about when they lock their eyes, Kang Min Kyung replied, "Our songs have a lot of high notes, so finishing up a song feels like overcoming a struggling. When we look into each others' eyes, I think to myself, 'Unni, it's over.'" 

Another question during the interview was if there was a time when the duo almost broke-up; both members of Davichi have been together for over 10 years, including their training period. The group answered that they never have. Kang Min Kyung explained, "Our personalities are so different, that we compliment each other." Lee Hae Ri also added, "But we do share one trait, and that is that we don't hold any grudge." 

When asked, "What would you like to take from from the other person, if possible?"Hae Ri answered, "Age" and "Becoming paler as she drinks." Kang Min Kyung revealed that she would like to have Hae Ri's legs.

'Shopping King Louie's Lim Se Mi and Nam Ji Hyun show their close friendship off-screen

They might not have the greatest relationship in 'Shopping King Louie,' but Nam Ji Hyun and Lim Se Mi are actually really close off-screen!

The two chatted with their fans via 'V' on October 21 during their filming session in Busan! Cute lead, Nam Ji Hyun, said, "I can't sleep much.  These couple of days, a lot of filming took place in a rural area, but it's okay.  Ah, no, it's not okay because [Lim Se Mi] is not there."

Lim Se Mi said, "I need to be here to bother you and stuff.  Because of Nam Ji Hyun's recommendation, I ate seaweed soup in Busan.  I ate so well."  Nam Ji Hyun responded with, "I told her to eat fish seaweed soup, but it could be strange to people from the city, so I worried.  She told me it was good, though."

Lim Se Mi concluded, "She's always this lovable."  Aw, this womance needs to appear in the drama!

1990's boyband NRG discusses possibility of reunion

With many old school idols like S.E.S. and Sechskies reuniting for new albums, NRG is also drawing attention as they will hold a fan meeting to celebrate their 19th year debut anniversary. 

Music Factory's producer Kim Tae Hyung , the person who discovered and produced the group, stated during an interview with OSEN on October 21, "[NRG] will be holding a 19th-year-anniversary fan event on October 22. Chinese fans have been especially supportive, helping them reunite." 

NRG, the first generation Hallyu star, still has many fans in China, and it was thanks to these fans that the fan meeting event was able to be put together. Both Korean and international fans are expected to fill a small theater that holds about 250 people as 3 of the members will be attending. Member Moon Sung Hoon is unable to attend due to personal issues. 

Many fans are excited to hear the news of the fan meeting, speculating their official reunion for a new album. However, the producer responded, "I don't think it's the right time to discuss reunion. We will see how things go tomorrow [at the fan event]. It's just a chance for long-time fans and members to meet. There are no plans for official activities yet." 

Debuting in 1997, NRG gained popularity in Korea and beyond. In 2000, one of the members, Kim Hwan Sung, died suddenly, sending a shockwave to fans and others in the K-Pop world. However, the rest of the members continued on, maintaining the group. After their 2005 album 'No. 7,' the members have been focusing on their individual careers.

U.S. entertainment media, 'celebmix' published an article that titled, 'The 10 Highest Grossing Girl Group Concert Tours Of All Time,' in which Girls' Generation's 2014, 'Love and Peace' tour in 6 Japanese cities earned a total of $3,160,000, ranking them at 4, following TLC, Destiny's Child, and Spice Girls. 

Girls' Generation other 4 tours also were ranked from 6 - 9, resulting in 5 of their tours on the list. 

A performance production expert Kim Young Gyun stated, "The fact that a group can make big profit consistently with tours show that the fandom is large and strong...especially when an idol group can do well in tours testify that the fans are loyal and the general public are also drawn to the group.

Former 4minute member Sohyun is transitioning into an actress under a new label.

935 Entertainment, the label of actors Nam Goong Min, Yeon Jung Hoon, Kim Yeo Jin, Dong Hyun Bae, and more, officially announced that Sohyun has signed a contract with them and she will officially be promoting as an actress from now on. 

Originally, Sohyun debuted as a child actress and has appeared on dramas 'Dae Jang Geum', Age of Heroes', and more. She'll be further expanding her acting career under 935 Entertainment.

Actor Kim Min Suk once again expressed appreciation for the great gifts he received from Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki!

On 'Jang Ye Won's A Night Like Today' aired on October 18, Jang Ye Won asked Kim Min Suk about the refrigerator and washing machine his former 'Descendants of the Sun' co-stars gifted for his new house. 

Kim Min Suk responded, "I've always enjoyed doing the laundry, and it has become even more joyful thanks to Song Hye Kyo sunbaenim." As for the refrigerator, he said, "At first, Song Joong Ki sunbaenim wanted to gift me a two-door refrigerator, but the delivery was difficult considering the location of my new house. He gifted me the most stylish and cool refrigerator instead."

GOT7 tease Jinwoon about his girlfriend Wonder Girls' Yenny

JB, Youngjae, and Yugyeom of GOT7 had fun teasing 2AM's Jinwoon about his girlfriend!

On the October 18 airing of 'GOT7's Hard Carry', the 3 members asked Jinwoon for a ride to complete their mission of going to the airport without a manager. During the car ride, Jinwoon excitedly sang and danced when GOT7's new song blasted the speakers. 

However, Yugyeom changed the music to a HA:TFELT's song, which is Yenny's solo track, and said, "This song is good." The members then continued teasing by asking Jinwoon if he's coming to JYP concerts. Jinwoon, embarrassed by their jokes, responded, "That's enough. You guys are making me embarrassed. If I go to that I might look like I have too much time on my hands." However, Yugyeom, JB, and Youngjae disagreed, saying, "No, it'll be good to see you looking out for her."

Yewon decides not to renew her contract with Star Empire

Yewon will be leaving leaving Star Empire.

A rep of Star Empire recently stated, "Yewon's contract with us comes to end on the 21st of this month. There will not be a renewal of the contract, but because Yewon has been with us for a long time, we will look out for her until she finds a new label. Where she will be signing on with next is currently undecided."

Various reports claim Yewon plans to join Jellyfish Entertainment. Stay tuned for updates.

Former Dal Shabet member signs on with Jellyfish Entertainment!

Jiyul, who left her girl group Dal Shabet back in December of 2015 to pursue her acting career, has signed on with Jellyfish Entertainment!

The label stated, "We've signed a contract with former Dal Shabet member Jiyul. We do not plan to withhold any support toward Jiyul, in hopes that she will be able to show off her charms through a variety of productions." 

Jellyfish Entertainment is home to VIXX, Seo In Guk, Gugudan, Sung Si Kyung, Park Jung Ah, Park Ye Jin, and more.

Reports have stated that Big Bang filmed for a brand new MV this October 18 in Chungju, in North Chungcheong province of Korea. 

Many also suspect that a recent Instagram update by G-Dragon shows a building from the MV filming set in Chungju, even though the star made no comment regarding his post. 

To clarify the ongoing reports, YG Entertainment simply stated, "It's true that Big Bang have wrapped up filming a MV for a new song."

YG remains silent on Nam Tae Hyun and Jung Ryeo Won's dating rumors

YG Entertainment has kept quiet on the dating rumors regarding WINNER's Nam Tae Hyun and actress Jung Ryeo Won. 

On October 17, dating rumors of the two stars swept various online communities after an exclusive report claiming the two have been in a relationship for about one year. Jung Ryeo Won's label, Key East Entertainment, quickly responded to the reports in denial, announcing that the two are only friends. 

Unlike Key East Entertainment who responded within 30 minutes of the said rumors, YG Entertainment kept silent, finally speaking up after several hours with, "There's nothing much we can say about Nam Tae Hyun and Jung Ryeo Won's dating rumors."

YG's reaction has only brought on more speculations about Nam Tae Hyun and Jung Ryeo Won's questionable relationship.

It's really happening! The 'Ant Couple' is getting back together for ongoing JTBC variety show, 'With You'!

On October 18, the producers announced that the comedian couple Heo Kyung Hwan and Oh Nami will be ending their on-screen marriage soon, with the former 'We Got Married' couple, Seo In Young and Crown J, having been selected as their replacement. 

One producer shared, "I've never seen an on-screen couple that keep in touch like Crown J and Seo In Young. Crown J also has stated that he would like to re-marry, and Seo In Young said she might like to marry him in the future during her appearance on 'Radio Star'. I think our show will provide a foundation for that. Yoon Jung Soo and Kim Sook are a show-window couple, Heo Kyung Hwan and Oh Nami consisted of a one-way crush, and Crown J and Seo In Young will be the couple that meet again." 

Seo In Young and Crown J's 2nd marriage life will start broadcasting this November!

MONSTA X named a few of the qualities that make them stand out among the thriving boy group market. 

On the October 18 airing of 'Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time', DJ Choi Hwa Jung asked, "Nowadays, the competition among boy groups such as SHINee, BTS, and more is fierce. What are MONSTA X's strengths?"

The members replied, "We always say our energy. We also have a twist because we sing strong and aggressive songs on stage but turn into nice boys when communicating with our fans off -stage." They also added, "Each member has outstanding physical qualities. We are like the Avengers." 

As for individual strengths, the boys said, "Jooheon can rap extremely well, and each member is a strength for just being that member."
