Cha Seung Won to walk the runway at 'Seoul Fashion Week'

Actor Cha Seung Won will be taking up the runway at 'Seoul Fashion Week'!

Back in 1988, Cha Seung Won debuted as a model and transitioned into acting in 1997. Even after the shift in career, Cha Seung Won was frequently spotted at the popular fashion event for his friend and designer Song Zio. The upcoming '2017 S/S HERA Seoul Fashion Week' will be the 22nd time the actor will be walking the runway for the 'SONGZIO SHOW'. 

The event is schedules for October 19.

SM Entertainment to produce S.E.S's new album and plan concert

SM Entertainment gave more news about their first girl group S.E.S's pending comeback for their 20th anniversary.

On October 17, a rep stated, "Under the producing by the headquarters, S.E.S. will be preparing their 20th-anniversary album and a concert.  We ask for high expectations."

So the girls are confirmed to be returning with an album produced by and a concert planned by SM Entertainment!

ASTRO hold their first Japanese showcase with 4,000 fans

ASTRO held their first Japanese showcase!

The boys were in Tokyo on the 14th at the Tsutaya O-East for their 'ASTRO The 1st Season Showcase in 2016'. The boys performed various songs including their debut song "Hide and Seek" as well as "Breathless". Even though it's their first time in Japan, fans sang all their songs in Korean.

The boys themselves prepared Japanese thoroughly to show their Japanese fans. Cha Eun Woo especially memorized the times table in Japanese to awe fans. The boys also performed Arashi's "Hatenai Sora".

April holds their first solo concert in Japan

April had their first ever solo concert in Japan!

The girls had their '2016 April 1st Concert' in Tokyo on the 15th. They kicked off with "Dream Candy" and performed other songs such as "Thriller", "When I Open My Eyes", and "Tinkerbell" to the 2,000 fans that had gathered to see them.

The girls also had solo stages. Yena danced to Tinashe's "2 On", Naeun performed Lee Hyori's "U Go Girl", Chaewon performed "If I Ain't Got You", and Jinsol performed Matsuura Aya's "Momoiro Kataomoi". 'Produce 101's Chaekyung also came to fill the space that Hyunjoo left while she's taking a break, and the five girls performed KARA songs "Pretty Girl", "Girls Power", and "Jumping", as well as Rainbow's "A".

The girls ended with their fan song "Fire Thank You", and the girls ended up tearing up at the fans' response.

G-Friend once again get noticed for performing in downpour

G-Friend is once again getting noticed for performing in a downpour.
As the endorsement models of 'Lotte Water Park', the G-Friend members performed for guests at the theme park on July 2. In the middle of their rendition ofFin.K.L's "To My Boyfriend", the weather started to get especially harsh, and the rain started coming down hard. Still, the girls continued through to the cheers of the audience, which is making an impression among fans.

Some of you may remember the girl group made headlines in September of last year for performing on a slippery stage. Despite multiple bad falls, the girls soldiered through, showing their resolve as rookies.

Tiffany greets the 'Weekend' through the first of her solo concerts

Tiffany successfully started off her solo concert series!

She performed at the SMTOWN Theatre from June 10 to June 12, putting on her 'Weekend-Tiffany' show for fans. She performed 18 songs including "I Just Wanna Dance" and "Heartbreak Hotel". She also sang Girls' Generation's hit songs, a medley of songs that inspired her, as well as an unrevealed song she composed herself. 

Tiffany will be back in the theater for three more shows on the 24th, 25th, and 26th respectively.

f(x)'s Luna and Block B's Taeil will be partnering up at 'KCON France 2016'!

According to Sports DongA, Luna and Taeil will be performing "It Was Love" fromZico's solo single album 'Break Up 2 Make Up'. Both Luna and Taeil already have special relations to this song as Luna featured in the original song for Zico, while Taeil impressed with his own version of in Block B's mini album 'Blooming Period'.

Tickets for BTS' upcoming concerts in Taiwan and Macao sell out instantly

We all know BTS is on "Fire" these days, but here's yet another article to prove it.

According to reports, ticket sales for the group's upcoming 'HwaYangYeonHwa On Stage: EPILOGUE Asia Tour' concerts in Taiwan and Macao have sold out instantly! Which means, literally in a matter of seconds!

Tickets for the show in Taiwan went on sale May 15 with a total of 8,000 available seats, while tickets for the show in Macao went on sale on May 18, with a total of 6,000 available seats. 

We're sure the group will achieve unbelievable ticket sale results for their upcoming tours in China, Japan, the Philippines, and more!

'2016 Dream Concert' announces 1st line up including EXO, G-Friend, VIXX, and more!

'Dream Concert' is once again returning this year with amazing K-pop idols!

On April 9, the first line up for the '2016 Dream Concert' was announced. So far, it's revealed that EXO, SHINee's Taemin, B1A4, VIXX, T-ara, Red Velvet, Oh My Girl, G-Friend, Seventeen, MAMAMOO, and HALO are joining the event. The date is also announced to be June 4. 

The line up is already looking spectacular. Stay tuned for more updates on '2016 Dream Concert'!

Fans are demanding an apology from Taeyeon for the postponement of her solo concert

Recently SM Entertainment announced that the 'Taeyeon, Butterfly Kiss' solo concert was postponed, and the delay is leading to mixed reactions from fans.

Some fans showed understanding as they said, "Is Taeyeon okay? Maybe she's sick..", "It's alright! Not totally cancelled. We will be waiting!", "I am worried.. Hope everything works out!", and more.

On the other hand, some fans found the delay unacceptable as they responded, "She should apology or at least give an explanation to fans directly instead of just SM making an announcement like that", "Isn't it obvious that people are going to be angry if the concert gets cancelled like this? Where is the apology", etc.

Taeyeon's concert was originally scheduled for April 23-24. However, it has been postponed for "better quality".

JYJ's Junsu previews 'Descendants of the Sun' OST song for Japanese fans

JYJ's Junsu treated fans at '2016 XIA THE BEST BALLAD SPRING TOUR CONCERT vol.2 in JAPAN' with a live performance of his song for 'Descendants of the Sun'. 

During the concert on March 30, Junsu had 'Genie Time' where he granted 3 wishes from his fans. One of them was for Junsu to sing the OST live at the spot, and Junsu commented, "'Descendants of the Sun' is the hottest drama in Korea right now. The OST I sang is not officially released yet, but it's amazing how even the fans in Japan know about it. I think this will be the first time I am singing the song live." 

Junsu's fans were overjoyed at his first live performance of the OST, but it looks like we'll have to wait to hear the full song!  

Lee Byung Hun thanks Lee Min Jung and newborn son for Best Male Actor Award at 'Asian Film Awards'

Actor Lee Byung Hun has achieved yet another feat in his career by receiving the 'Best Male Actor Award' for his role in the film 'Inside Men' at the 2016 Asian Film Awards!

Lee Byung Hun impressively beat out various Chinese and Hong Kong actors for this year's Best Male Actor Award, becoming one of 4 representatives from Korea to receive awards this year. 

After the ceremonies, Lee Byung Hun commented, "I wanted to visit Macao for a chance to congratulate all of the fantastic films, actors, and staff. But to be awarded in the midst of Asia's best is such a great honor. I had a very hard time filming 'Inside Men'. I give the honor for this award to the staff of 'Inside Men' who refused to turn away from hardships. I also thank director Woo Min Ho and all of the actors from the film." 

The actor also added with tears in his eyes, "Lastly, I'd like to tell my wife (Lee Min Jung) and my newborn son that I love them and am always thankful for them." 

Aside from Lee Byung Hun, actor Yoo Ah In was awarded with the 'New Generation Award' and two stylists from the film 'The Throne' were awarded the 'Best Costume Awards'.

Big Bang event in China canceled due to safety?

Unfortunately, Big Bang's event in Wuhan, China has been canceled, but the reason itself is slightly flattering for the group.

According to Chinese media outlet Cnhubei, Wuhan Police Department reported that Big Bang's fan meeting scheduled on March 27 is canceled. The city of Wuhan is not permitting Big Bang to perform at Gwangwi Sports Center because of its limited capacity and safety reasons. The arena is said to be too weak for the big event.

Wuhan Police Department stated, "There is significant online attention for the event even before ticketing has started. Gwangwi Sports Center can only hold 3-4000 people. However, we are expecting about 10,000 people attempting to buy tickets."This led them to the decision that the event has to be canceled to prevent overcrowding.

Cancellation of the event is unfortunate for both Big Bang and their waiting fans. Big Bang's popularity is just uncontrollable!

A total of 4 producers are flying over to Los Angeles, California to judge 'Show Me The Money 5' auditions. According to show associates, Gil, Simon D, Dok2, and Kush will be departing Korea to join the audition in LA. 

The event is receiving great attention as it is the first international audition of 'Show Me the Money'. On March 19, this special day will take place in KorovaDTLA, and doors will open at 9 a.m. 

Along with the 4 producers named above, talented rappers, such as The Quiett, Mad Clown, Zion.T, and GRAY, will be joining the show as producers.

Park Seo Joon gives back to fans with a White Day event he planned himself

For White Day, actor Park Seo Joon had something special in store for fans! 

Turns out, Park Seo Joon has been busy planning a special White Day even all the way from March 9 to March 14. The actor's not-so-discreet planning was revealed on Key East's official Facebook page, where we get a direct peek into Park Seo Joon's motive behind this event. 

In a short video clip revealed on March 14 (right on White Day!), Park Seo Joon is seen assembling goodie bags, stuffing plastic bags full of colorful candies and snacks. The actor explained, "I've always received from you guys but for this White Day, I want to give back with a special event. I hope that for everyone who receives the goodies, it'll remain a special memory. I hope that you will spend time with loved ones, and I'll continue to show an improved self through 'Hwarang: The Beginning.'"

Among the people who had submitted their stories to receive the goodie bags, they ultimately went to one lucky high school's teacher and students whose story was selected by Park Seo Joon himself. Lucky for them right? They got free candies and met the one and only Park Seo Joon! 

Kyuhyun successfully wraps up 'Fall, Once Again' solo concert

Kyuhyun successfully wrapped up his 'Fall, Once Again' solo concert series!

He was at the SMTOWN Theatre from November 5-8th and 13-15th and performed a total of 7 times. He originally had less than 7, but he sold out his shows as soon as his tickets went on sale, making additional shows a necessity.

He sang various songs such as "At Gwanghwamun", "Words Love Hid", "A Million Pieces", and "Good Person", as well as "Late Autumn" and OST "Hope is a Dream That Doesn't Sleep". He also put on his 'Masked Singer' mask as well, sang the Chinese song "New Endless Love" and the Japanese song "Kanade" for international fans.

B.A.P come back to 3,000 fans at their 'MATRIX' comeback show

Fans all over the world got to see B.A.P during their comeback show over the 'V' app, but the show was incredibly well awaited by Korean fans as well!

Over 3,000 fans came to see the boys on the comeback show, and fans from China, Japan, Argentina, Mexico, and USA flew into Korea just to see the boys. They kicked off the showcase with debut song "Warrior" and continued onto "No Mercy". The boys performed the songs on their new album, first showing off "Young, Wild, & Free" and its MV before performing "Blind", "Take You There", and "Be Happy". The boys ended with "Angel", and then came back for an encore with "With You".

The boys will be having their first comeback stage on the 17th on SBS MTV's 'The Show'!
