Actor Yoo Ah In's benevolent act of charity towards a child leukemia patient became belatedly known to the public.
According to what Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation said on October 13, Yoo Ah In donated the funds necessary for a 7-year-old leukemia patient to undergo a bone marrow transplant in September at a hospital in Seoul. At the time, the child was in the midst of battling cancer and is currently recovering from the surgery. A rep from the Foundation stated, "To protect the patient's personal information, we can't give any specific details, but Yoo Ah In did sponsor the costs of surgery."
Members of Yoo Ah In's fan cafe have been officially sponsoring the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation. Separate from his promotional activities, Yoo Ah In has personally been supporting the cancer patient. The actor even supported two other child patients who are suffering from another disease, unbeknownst to anyone until now.
