Junsu talks about trying different sounds for his album 'Yesterday'

JYJ'Junsu discussed the variety of new sounds he tried for his new mini album 'Yesterday,' at the press conference which took place on October 15 at Hyundai Card'sMusic Library in Seoul.

For one of his songs, titled "OeO," Junsu explained, "I've done a lot of dance music with a hip hop focus but this is a track with the most EDM feel. Giriboy, who is a rapper I really like, featured on the song. So I think the song became more complete."

The singer further revealed that "Silk Road" is his favorite on the song, saying, "LIke a bonus track, it's a song I had fun composing. The point of this song is the humorous lyrics. The direct and witty lyrics that liken the love between man and woman to a silk road is what catches your attention. My voice wraps around an Indian traditional instrument called the Sitar. [For this song] I pictured merchants crossing the continents." Sounds pretty cool, eh?

"Yesterday," the title track of the album, is said to encompass an emotional, lugubrious tune, composed and written by singer-songwriter Shim Gyu Sun (Lucia).

Meanwhile, Junsu's mini album 'Yesterday' will drop this coming October 19 and will include the acoustic versions of "Tarantallegra," "Incredible," "Flower," for total of eight tracks.
