G-Friend reveal that they love A Pink + talk about their girl-next-door concept

On February 6, rookie girl group G-Friend guested on MBC FM4U 'Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope,' where they talked about their love for senior girl group A Pink and told stories from their pre-debut days.

When asked about their role models, G-Friend members picked senior idol group A Pink and said, "They are more like the group that we like than our role models. They are really pink goddesses. We started looking for HD videos of A Pink even before our debut."

When asked about their pre-debut days, Sowon said, "I was a trainee for about five years. As soon as I turned 16, I went into the agency and prepared for my debut for about five years. I cried a lot during that time."

Yerin then added, revealing her close relationship with former T-ara member Hwayoung, "When I was about to debut as G-Friend, Hwayoung cheered for me and said that we would do well. I wasn't able to contact her after debut. We don't have phones yet.

The girls were also asked about their girl-next-door concept. G-Friend explained their content and said, "I think it is a concept that matches us well because of our age group. If we were trying to be sexy right now, then it would seem too forced."

Kim Shin Young then asked, "Were there any special training that you guys did to take on the innocent concept?" The girls revealed that they had special training for making innocent-looking expressions. They said, "We had a visual training once a week where we had to monitor ourselves. One of our agency's resp coached us.

Meanwhile, G-Friend debuted on January 15 with the song "Glass Bead" and the debut album 'Season of Glass.
