Epik High's Tablo revealed that he received help from his wife, Kang Hye Jung when signing under YG Entertainment, during the December 9 edition of tvN's 'Taxi.'
Tablo said, "At the time I was having a hard time because of the scandals. So agencies were hesitant to lend a helping hand. They were uncomfortable because there were so many people who hated me at the time."
He continued, "And at the time, my wife Kang Hye Jung was in YG so she made plans for me and CEO Yang Hyun Suk. I thought we were just going to grab food but I realized that the meeting was for me. CEO Yang Hyun Suk said that he wanted to hear my music, so I sent him some songs. He contacted me days later and he said, 'People like this should continue music', and that was the beginning of our ties."
Meanwhile, Tablo also revealed that Mithra Jin was the most awkward with Yang Hyun Suk out of the three. He said, "Yang Hyun Suk asked me how old Mithra Jin's kid was not too long ago. He thought that Mithra Jin was married."
