On December 11, SM Entertainment signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korean Football Association. To commemorate the signing, the guest list included big names such SM CEO Kim Young Min, the President of the KFA Jung Mong Kyu, head coach of Korea's national soccer team Uli Stielike, and EXO's Kai and Xiumin.
This particular MOU was signed to diversify Korean soccer and the Hallyu wave through the exchange between sports and the entertainment industry. With the MOU, the two organizations are to anticipate various collaborative projects that should benefit both parties.
Meanwhile, to commemorate the signing of the MOU, CEO Kim Young Min, EXO's Kai, and Xiumin were handed national soccer team uniforms. In addition, Kai, Xiumin, and soccer fanSHINee's Minho, were also presented honorary employee IDs.
