The cast of KBS's 'Gag Concert' paid their respects to the victims of the Sewol ferry tragedy as they finally returned to regular broadcast after six weeks of static.
"The Sewol sinking was an unbelievable accident," Kim Dae Hee said. "All citizens were hurt and the sadness couldn't be put into words. We needed time to mourn together with the people."
"At the scene of the accident, there are those who put in superhuman effort from the moment of the accident until even today," Kim Jun Ho said. "We see hope for Korea in these people. And now we want to bring comfort to Korea in the only way we can. We pray for the victims as we hope that this kind of tragedy never happens again."
Dressed somberly in black suits, the cast of 'Gag Concert' stood together on the stage as they bowed to the audience before starting their show, taking one more step toward the normalization of Korean society after the horrible incident.
